Flight Simulator Games? Any good ones?

What is a good flight simulator game for pc?



Im looking for two types of games..

A regular flight simulator, where you can fly across the country...

and I am also looking for one that is a fighter pilot game. One that you can pick which aircraft you want to be, like Germany, Russia, US, British... etc...



Im just asking if there are any that you know of, and what is your favorite...

And Im looking for one that has decent graphics too..



I am on Windows XP too if that helps...Flight Simulator Games? Any good ones?
You can try Fight simulator 2000, 2002, 2004, or X if you want simulation.



If you want civil plane fighting, I would go for IL-2 or pacific fighter. In IL-2, you can have up to 128 player on one server, online!



But, I would recommend modern day plane fighting. Try the Battlefield series to start out. But most of the jets will be taken fast. So get Battlefield 2, download sandbox, and spawn a jet you want and fly around. Or you can shoot random people :).
