I have a question on flight simulator X?

on flight simulator X can you get other airplanes and different airlines besides the ones that are already in the game. because i see in other flight simulatorX games on youtube people have planes like the a380 or the 777 or airlines like quantas or singapore etc. do you need to buy a special flight simulatorX or how does that go?I have a question on flight simulator X?

You have to buy the add-on aircraft from the companies that develop them. Some of the best known companies are PMDG, Level-D Simulations, Dreamfleet, Eaglesoft, Carenado, and so on. These add-ons are easily an order of magnitude more realistic than the standard aircraft provided with the sim, and they appeal to serious simulation enthusiasts who want to get as close as possible to the real aircraft.



When you buy one, you get a set-up program that you run to install the aircraft in your existing Flight Simulator situation. Thereafter, you can just select it from within the sim like any other aircraft.



There are free aircraft, too, but they do not contain the features or match the realism of the payware aircraft, although they are sometimes better than the standard aircraft. Their installations are sometimes more complicated than those of the payware aircraft.
