Im intrested in getting a flight game but do you need flight sim to get it.?

I want to get a flight game such as world airports 2 or traffic X but it seems for some that these are add ons and you would need flight simulator 2004 etc/ Does anyone know any games which are not add ons but are quite realistic like traffic x and world airports 2.



Any suggestions of games will help.

Almost all addons require some kind of flight simulator! Flight Simulator X is the best by far I think!!! I would get Flight Simulator X if I were you! You can find it for really cheap on ebay and then you will be able to purchase addons for you flight simulator.Im intrested in getting a flight game but do you need flight sim to get it.?
if you buy a base for those add ons you are good if you have a fairly decent computer with good graphics i would suggest flight simulator x and if not flight simulator 2004 (9) is good too. then add on's for that are thing slike traffic x , etc but the best immideate add on for fsx is fsx acceleration then get the others. hope i helped. x plane is also fairly decent but dose not come close to fsx and/or fs2004 both come with thousands of airports and the whole earth to fly and some missions
