How do you get Flight Simulator X to not hang up?

I've installed Flight Simulator X on my computer. It worked great for a while, then it froze up. The game would not load again after rebooting %26amp; reinstalling. It would begin to load, then it would not respond.

Is there a fix out there for this? How do you get Flight Simulator X to not hang up?
You need to make sure you have enough space on the computer to handle it. It requires a minimum available space and if you have a lot of other stuff on your hard drive, it might not load.

There also sounds like your RAM might be a bit low on memory.

One thing that might help is to defrag your system and try reloading and rebooting and reinstall the game. How do you get Flight Simulator X to not hang up?
DEEPTHINK...'s answer is correct but you also need to check on your video card and make sure that it can handle this simulator as it is graphically intense.

It's possible that the video card is overclocking and possibly overheating. This can also lock up a game.

I reccomend nothing less than a 256mb video card for Flight Sim X.
