Is it possible to play Microsoft Flight Simulator on a TV?

I recently bought 'Microsoft Flight Simulator' and have used it on my PC. The problem is it takes up a lot of memory. Is it possible to play the game on my TV (Flat screen Toshiba) with a games console or

some other device??Is it possible to play Microsoft Flight Simulator on a TV?
Well, it might be possible to play Flight Simulator on your TV if your TV has the right sockets to hook a PC up to it - however, I fear this isn't really what you are hoping to achieve is it? As the game is still going to be running on your PC it wont make a jot of difference to the memory usage where you are displaying the images produced, be it your monitor or your TV (IF you can hook it up). And as Flight Simulator is only available for PC it means that you have no other choice I'm afraid. Apart from adding more memory to your PC, buying a better and bigger graphics card or even simply buying a new PC there is nothing else you can do.

I believe that M$ quit making the console version of Flight Simulator back in the early '90s.

On the other hand, X-Plane 9 is not as memory intensive and seems to be a more fluid, and accurate fly model. The city/airport scenery can rival MS, but requires (freeware) add-ons. The non-populated area scenery seems (to me) to be superior to MSFS X.Is it possible to play Microsoft Flight Simulator on a TV?
If you go to wal-mart online or the actual store you may be able to find one, but my best bet is to talk to a electronics person there
