I already have a good Dell desktop. Do I need a console for playing such games?

go with the x box because the other platforms heat to fast and break. But all of the flight simulator games are time consuming, like the ace combat series for example took 34 hours to beat and unlock every thing in it. the best is pc and probably by alienware they are the best for games... just check out www.alienware.com theres also a huge selection of games and easy multiplayer.
