Best PS2 flight simulator game?

Hey, I need to know what the best flight simulator is for the PS2?

Please don't say any of the Ace Combat series. I'm looking for games that are in the "WAR" genre and more action realistic war style (action-packed) without the little girl story.

Here's the thing...

I bought a PS2 recently for my brother and he's wasn't one into video games. He's almost 40 years old. But now that he's got it, he loves it to death. Games that he really enjoys are Ghost Recon, Socom Series, Black, Gran Tursimo 4.

He's real guy-guy tough type of guy. He gave me some money to get online and get him flight simulator game for the PS2. I know there's not very many. But I'm wondering which one is the best based on the following factors:

Realism

War

decent graphics

Mans man type of game

Which PS2 game flight simulator is basically is the most bada$$ for us rough shaving man types?

20 points goes to best answer from me - please don't post crap that read from some 2 cent review. I want a answer that's from personal game playing experience. Thank you.Best PS2 flight simulator game?
Unfortunately, your entire question negates itself and the proper answer. There really aren't any true simlike games. The Ace Combat games are the only ones that perfectly fit your bill. One could suggest the Air Force Delta games, but the Ace Combat games all look better, play better, and have better stories.

Also, for you dismiss stories as girl stuff is a HUGE cover up. You and your brother probably listen to Lady Gaga, follow Perez Hilton, and share a bed. The stories, especially the Ace Combat stories, are what make the game.

Edit:
Asker confirmed for absolute troll or just... has to be. No one could possibly ask this question, come back with his reply, and not be pulling someone's leg. I'M making ignorant, ego blown comments? Let's recap:

Claims to be RAWR MANLY MAN
Claims having a story is girly
Tells people not to post what is pretty the ONLY possible answer to his question...

then comes back and admits he hasn't played a single nanosecond of ANY of the best games that would suit his needs, and then bases his disregard of games he hasn't played on YOUTUBE VIDEOS?! Yet, I'm the one making unfounded comments. That is the textbook definition of a troll.

Look, kid, I feel for your brother. If he finds piloting multi-million dollar ***-kicking machines cathartic, that's great. Whatever works, but don't tell people not to answer with THE best games that meet your criteria because a f**king YT vid colored your perceptions. Yes, they ARE that damn good. Just look at the comments on the vids. Note how they're all fawning over how great they are. You want an experinced opinion? I've lived on or near military bases over half my life. I've even served in the Air Force. I have personally been in or around roughly half the planes in the game. Trust me when I say the Ace Combat games are right up your alley. If you want something beyond those, you're gonna have to buy it on a PC or actually learn how to fly. Tell your brother to hang in there. I retract my previous statements... but only if you don't actually listen to Lady Gaga! No self respecting man would!Best PS2 flight simulator game?

Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War
Sorry but the fact is there aren't any flight sims on ps2.

True flight sims didn't make it to consoles until Il-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey on ps3 and xbox360. The flight engine is a real simulator, unfortunately it's also a stripped down version of the pc game Il-2 - Wings of Prey, and is polluted with arcade elements like online free-for-all, unlimited ammo/ordnance in many missions, and in the xbox version, no blackouts/redouts due to g-forces.

There were never any flight sims released on consoles before that. There aren't any for ps2. Believe me, I looked far and wide for one. It's arcade or nothing. Or get a ps3 and IL-2 Sturmovik.
