Launch Microsoft Excel 97.
Click the %26lt;F5%26gt; key.
Write in the "Reference" data box :
x97:l97 (that is a smll L after the ":")
Click on the %26lt;OK%26gt; button.
Click the %26lt;Tab%26gt; key once.
Hold the %26lt;Ctrl%26gt; and %26lt;Shift%26gt; key down, click on the %26lt;Chart Wizard%26gt; button on top.
Your screen becomes a terrain map, and you can "fly" with your mouse.
Find the Monolith with the scrolling text.
Use the left mouse button to accelerate, the right to slow down/reverse.
Click on the %26lt;Escape%26gt; key to end. Return to work.
I don't know about the easter egg thing....How do I access the flight simulator game on Excel 97 or pinball on Word 97? Do new versions have easter eggs?
Don't know about easter eggs, Mr. Something? ;) Programmers often put little games and other odd things into their software.
