How good a game is Windows Flight Simulator X?

I'm thinking of buying the new Flight Simulator but the price is steep. Is it a good enough game to cover the cost? And do you recommend a joystick or what?How good a game is Windows Flight Simulator X?
Well its like the originals, but the graphics look better, and it runs more smoothly. I think they also buffed up some of the physics code. I wouldn't recommend playing without a joystick.

As always you can import other aircraft in and play online.

The training is done very well, and the scenarios are fun/enjoyable. I guess it all comes down to: Do you think of sitting in the cockpit more of a job or a game?

It's a very cool game with top notch graphics, actually they are down right beautiful. I'm no pilot but the gameplay feels as realistic as I imagine flying a plane would be. Word of caution, you'll need a completely top of the line PC with a fast processor, plenty of ram, and a killer graphics card.How good a game is Windows Flight Simulator X?
