Computer system won't support Flight Simulator Games? What do I do?

We got my dad a Flight Simulator game for the PC...it keeps saying the virtual memory is not big enough. I know enough about computers to be dangerous...and that's it! I already added the DVD/CD plug in so we could even install it, I've cleaned out all the drives, bought him a thumb drive to store all his bulky files. What can I do now? The computer is a Compaq, that is only a couple of years old. It's 2 Gig and that's about all I know...(I can find out more). Will adding an external hard drive help or a new memory stick? There is so much lag when he plays that he keeps crashing his plane! I told him to shut everything down while he's playing, no interenet, no anything but the standard operating systems. They are on dial up and I'm constantly cleaning their computer up, I've installed Defender Pro and it's a little better. I've optimized all the drives, cleaned out all the junk, but still no luck...help???Computer system won't support Flight Simulator Games? What do I do?
there will be specifications on the game that you bought and you need to find out if you computer meets the requirements of the game....... large enough CPU, enough RAM and if you installed it onto your hard drive, size there shouldn't be an issue.... you either need to upgrade your computer to suit or the game will be uselessComputer system won't support Flight Simulator Games? It would be very nice to know your other specifications for the computer. But the chances are, your graphics card isn't good enough. The graphics card is what controls everything with videos, games, etc. It is very important in games. You could upgrade to an Nvidia 7600GT or an 8600GT for about $100, but otherwise, there's not much you can do. Make sure you get the right card for what your computer supports.

If you gave the computer model (hp 5400 or whatever), it would be easier to help you out.Computer system won't support Flight Simulator Games? What do I do?
You need to raise the virtual memory i will tell you how as simply as i can so listen up if you want to know how to make your game playable no money needed. Go to controll panel%26lt;then go to performance and maintenence%26gt;System%26gt;Advanced%26gt;Performance settings%26gt;Advanced%26gt;Virtual memory Change%26gt; select custom size set it to 3000 and maximum at 4000 then push set then ok%26gt; now you got it play your game.

Have a great day hope this helped you!!!!!!!!!
2 Gigs of ram looks good. Need to know something about your processor and the motherboard in use. That would help. What is the graphics card in your computer. PCwizard2008 will give you full information about your hardware. which will help.

Yes you need to have a better graphics card. flight simulator is a 3D game and needs the power of a powerful graphics card to help you enjoy your game. Otherwise you will have a very very poor game experience.
