How do i no what graphics card my laptop can upgrade to in order to run flight simulator games.?

heyy....i have got an advent 5313, 2gb ram, 2ghz, and sis miraage 3 graphics..

ive been told that my flight sim games will not run becouse the graphics card is not up to it.

how do i find out what i can upgrade to and that will run 3d games.

i have replaced lcd screens, keyboards and ram into my laptop so do you think im able to install a grahpics card or would you advise a pro??

Considering the fact it's a laptop, I'd get in touch with the manufactorer, Dell, etc. and ask them what can be put inside. Aside your existing graphics, the rest of the machine is capable of running MSFS 2004...........not MS FSX. On a desktop with a slightly lower ghz processor and only 512mb of ram, FS 2004 ran ok on a Geforce 5200......so that gives you an idea of how low you can go, since that is a pretty low, low end card and you don't need to dish out too much money or go much higher on a videocard is the basic point. I'd obviously get something better than a 5200, but don't spend too much. I currently run FS2004 on a desktop with a CoreDuo at 2.8ghz and 2gb of ram with a 9600GT and it will run fully maxed out.How do i no what graphics card my laptop can upgrade to in order to run flight simulator games.?
