What's the most realistic "flight simulator" style video game, (especially military aircrafts video games)?

I know that no video game can be the same as a real flight simulator, because there is no Playstation or X-Box with a "plane cockpit" option, and a joystick can't replace the hundreds of buttons that a pilot must use, but is there a videogame that is kinda "close" to the real flight experience?

The first one i can think of is the Microsoft flight simulator x, but the problem is that it is a pc game (and it can get a bit boring and does not put much emphasis on the military flight).

Most of the games on the the consoles are unrealistic military style games such as H.A.W.X . I think it matters about what era of aerial combat you want. for the present day and the future flight, ace combat is more realistic that h.a.w.x. but there is a wide selection of world war 2 flight games which are very realistic such as il sturmovik: birds of prey. here are the trailers.
