Maybe not with FSX, but probably quite easily with FS2004.How will this computer play games like flight simulator x?
That computer will probably not be able to run FSX on High settings, due to the video card. The nVidia 9500GT is an entry-level card with a slower architecture (the arc. found in the early 8200-8500 cards).
The RAM amount (triple channel, I am assuming) is great, but would be best with DDR3 1333 (I am guessing yours is 1066).
Processor is perfect for a gaming computer, but would be better paired with at the least a 9800GTX. A GTX295 would be ideal, being a dual-GPU card.
See if you can upgrade the video card to one of the following (in order from best to worst):
GTX295 (dual card)
GTX280
GTX260
GTS250
9800GTX+
9800GTX
9800GX2 (dual card)
9600GT
Keep in mind, the more high powered the video card is, the more wattage and amperage on the +12v rail you will need.
