Are there any Nintendo Wii games out that are flight simulators. My husband is in flight school and I thought?

Get him Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WW2. It's cool, interactive, and action-packed! You can either use just the Wii remote as a yolk, or you can use the nunchuck and the Wii remote side-by-side. I use the Wii remote controls. Are there any Nintendo Wii games out that are flight simulators. My husband is in flight school and I thought?

No idea but I bet it would work well with the VR goggles/headphones on. I'm planning to get those goggles and use it with the Wii XD
In addition to "Blazing Angels" where you fly WWII planes, there is also the game "Heatseeker" which features modern jet fighter planes and "Wing Island" where you leisurely fly little biplanes around an island.

Of the 3 flight simulators games, I would say "Blazing Angels" is the best one. It has more sophisticated and developed storyline and the controls seem to work better.

We own "Heatseeker" and have rented the other 2 and really, haven't been especially impressed, probably because there was a truely realistic computer flight simulator game we owned a few years back and the Wii games fall short by comparison.

However, if your husband is in flight school he might enjoy one of the flight simulator games regardless. Of the 3, I think "Blazing Angels" is best, but if you think he might like to just fly a little tiny biplane around--one that is probably similar to what he is learning to fly, then "Wing Island" might be good--I felt there wasn't enough of a backstory to the game.

Don't expect them to be on par with the better Wii games such as Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Metroid or Resident Evil4.
